Picked this up as a fun gift and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The pictures do not do it justice. The metal and crystal reflect light in a very fun way and the octopus is a natural topic of discussion. As noted in the description, extra crystals are shipped with and it comes in nice gift box. It comes with a double chain (black and silver) and though the pictures show the crown connected to the octopus, it is detached and can slide on the chain. In my opinion this is a great find for the price and the recipient of the gift agrees whole heartedly.

It is very nice on the big side but great coloring when the light hits it the crown is not attached to the octopus so be careful it comes with two chains one silver one black but overall my girlfriend loves it

This is a lovely piece of costume jewelry that doesn't look like costume jewelry at all. It is well-made and sturdy enough without making it look clunky or mass-produced. It elicits comments whenever I wear it. I especially love it because our last name is derived from the Greek word for octopus and we have them all over our home and in whatever apparel pieces we can find. It is one of the nicest of my jewelry octopuses. I bought another octopus necklace and earring set from this company and it is equally well-made and attractive. I highly recommend it.
