For the price (about $15), this is a nice gift for dragon lovers. It has that Game of Thrones/medieval vibe and decent size. I doubt the single stapled thin ribbon that holds the lid open will last very long, but that is easily fixed. The box is hefty and the outside celtic themed mold is very nice. I thought about giving it a 4 star for the lid ribbon, but for the price, I think it deserves 5 stars. It is lined inside with a felt type material so anything you put in there won't get scratched up. I would buy again.

Looks great. Seems sturdy. Has a felt bottom to not scratch a table, and a smooth surface inside.I use this to keep car keys and a wallet. They fit perfectly. The wallet doesn't lie flat, but leans against the side, which makes it easier to pull out than if it was flat on the bottom. There's an extra 3/8" space in the lid that allows it to close even if slightly overfilled. The wallet is 4-3/8 X 3-3/8 inches.

I read a lot of the reviews and was concerned if I would be satisfied with the chest. I am satisfied and I found the box evenly matched with the lid, the hinges were fine and there was no problem with the ribbon that connects the lid to the base. The art work is detailed and very crafty. I'm very pleased with the weight of the chest - it has a nice weight to it that makes it feel more expensive than it was. I'm very satisfied with it. This is part of a birthday gift for a 16 year old girl.
