My husband got this watch as he has always wanted a Diesel watch. Most Diesel watches are large but this model is great for average sized wrists. It isn't giant like other Diesel watches with 3" diameter faces. The watch comes in a really nice box including a small pillow. The packaging might be overkill but that shows the quality of this watch. Unlike other reviews the watch isn't hard to program even though it did not come with any instructions. That is the only con it has (no instructions). But the watch only has 4 buttons and one of those is the backlight so to program only took a few minutes once you knew what button did what. I guess it helps not to be a lazy person. Have to also disagree with other reviews on it's hard to read. In a bright room or sunlight the digits reflect and are very easy to read. At night in a pretty dark room the backlight illuminates the face plenty to read. It's in low light condition that it is a little more difficult to read with or without using the backlight but it still is readable. The watch is also very light weight and doesn't feel at all heavy on the wrist. So no time getting used to wearing this watch. Also never had a watch with a nylon/cloth style band before but would buy watches with this style of band again. He was skeptical of the watch due to all the negative reviews but went ahead and ordered it. Glad he did as those claims are false in his opinion. He absolutely loves his new watch!Update: 2/24/21Watch is still going strong, have not had any issues wearing it daily. All buttons and functions still work flawless. Band is showing very minor wear and stainless has a few minor scratches but that's from everyday wear. Face has not scratched at all. Husband is still loving this watch!

Perfect size and looking great.

The screen is dim the watch is cheaply made and the band is so thin it’s really difficult to put on this may be the most overpriced digital watch ever… Spend some time and find some thing nicer Don’t just buy it because it says diesel on it…

This watch for me is great reason (1) I don't like silicone bands I have an allergic reaction to them, so when I read this was a nylon band that a BIG plus for me. 2nd reason I was looking for a digital watch with some type of style(I'm not a diesel brand guy) but it fit what I needed. It's has a dark reading face meaning the numbers look dark, but it has a light so that's no problem for me, but something to consider if you decide to buy this watch, also there's no instructions with the watch, but it's like setting the old school digital watches and if you can't figure it out there's always "you tube", being from the old school It took a minute to set but it's nothing if you just think about it for a minute, but overall good watch a bit pricey for a digital watch but I still purchased it.

I love the style of the watch! It’s very exclusive and different… I brought this watch for my dude as Vday gift

I will not be comparing this watch to those in my collection that I trust for EDC, such as Luminox, Casio, Pulsar or Invicta. That would not be a fair comparison, because this particular watch from Diesel has worse accuracy and durability than a simple digital $8 George watch from Walmart.First shock, once the fancy packaging is cast aside, is that underneath what looks like brushed nickel or rugged stainless steel besel of the watch is actually brittle transparent plastic. I literally could not believe this part. Granted, it makes the watch unnaturally light, however, it does not scream "durability".The watch dial is quite well organized, and seeing the date, current time, day of the week and seconds is great. What's not so great is how dim all this is. I mean, the professionally rendered or computer generated pictures of the product are absolutely misleading as to how bright the digital dial is. The night backlighting is equally dim, and reminiscent of vintage LED watches from 1980s. Diesel: 21st century called...The "denim" wrist band, which looks modern and actually seems to be the best part of this time piece, is nice. However, the loops which are supposed to keep the end of the band in one place and not flap all over, constantly slip off and produce that undesirable effect. Adding a bit of electrical tape to keep the two loops together remedies this somewhat. Classy, Diesel! Maybe design loops that have better, grippy material backing or are sewn together a bit tighter to fit more snuggly around the wrist band? The watch as four operation/setting buttons at 10:30, 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 positions. At first glance, they look like good quality, stainless steel buttons. What you don't want to realize is that they are seated inside transparent plastic openings. Needless to say, for reason unknown to me, the 7:30 position button fell off at some point, and essentially got lost in the world. There was no way for me to feel that tiny button detaching and falling off. Considering the fact that this button was facing my forearm, and not my palm, you can see that there's no way any action I could've done during my day that would've caused damage to that button. Finally, timekeeping is horrendous. Once again, I am comparing this $70+ watch to a George digital from Walmart. George runs two seconds fast in one week's time. This Diesel watch was running two seconds fast in three days from the day of unboxing. Pathetic. Those of you who actually admire instruments for timekeeping for their accuracy, specifically quartz movements, should understand my disappointment.Thankfully, Amazon makes returns and refunds easy. This watch was returned without hesitation on day 3 without any regrets whatsoever. Great service from Amazon, terrible product quality from Diesel. Buy at your own risk!
