I guess I’ll have to find a screw back insteadThe seller allowed me to send the earrings back for repair. I now have a set of earrings that are beautiful and functional. I was disappointed that quality control did not catch the faulty clasp prior to receiving them, but I am fully satisfied with the customer service I received. I would definitely purchase from this seller again, because they stand behind their product.Edit: Today, the earring that opens and closes easily fell out of my ear! Thank God my sister-in-law found it otherwise I would have been beat!Received these earrings today and wow, they are beautiful. The sparkle or fire of the set I received is just awesome. The only issue I have is that the earrings have different degrees of opening. One earring opens and closes easily, while the other is harder to open and close. The earring that is hard to close also doesn't open as much. I'm unclear if the one earring is too lose or if the other earring is too tight, but regardless they are not the same. I included a picture for your reference. I do not see any marking denoting 10k on the earrings. I've never purchased 10k before so I do not know if it should have been stamped. To restate what other reviews have said, these are huggies. The earrings do not have a lot of room at the bottom when in the ear. However, I was looking for dainty hoops to wear everyday and this size is perfect. Although these hoops are dainty, they are not to be overlooked. These hoops sparkle like crazy and won't disappear on your ear. Aside from the clasp difference issue, these earrings are great.I added a video so you can see the brilliance/fire/sparkle

I also had problems with one earring opening and closing much easier then the other..... In fact I was wearing them for less than an hour and I lost one because of the crappie backing. They are very pretty earrings but that doesn't matter if you lose them because of poor quality!
