I typically never get gold plated because it’s worthless as scrap if you later don’t want it. But at 18k and with the initial this is very nice and has a nice real gold look and feel. Plus the S initial is very thick.

This chain is definitely dainty! I got it for my daughter. She loves it, and the length seems shorter than your average necklace, so it sits well on her 7yo body. It's been a little over a week, and no signs of tarnishing yet. It's been sturdy enough to make it through school/karate/tennis/etc classes all week. 5 stars.
