I purchased these to hold other things I was giving as bridal shower favors, thinking that they would be ideal to for women to be able to find in their purses. And basically, they are. Because they are black, they are difficult to see in my big black bag, but they can be located by feel. The price was really good and the quality is excellent. The leftover bags will be used to package the jewelry gifts I make.

Nice little bags really helped to keep your jewelry from getting scratched. I use mine when traveling to a destination wedding I placed my individual Jewelry in individual bags. They didn't take up much room and we're light weight. Would recommend. And the fact that you can get fifty bags for this price it's for terrific.

These little black velvet bags were perfect for our needs - super affordable, not entirely shabby, and made of something close enough to black velvet. I don't know that I would store priceless items in them, but when you need 150 of them to distribute knick-knacks at a fancy affair, like a wedding reception, they are far more classy than a ziploc bag and you won't need a second mortgage to get them. Win-win.

I returned these because I expected something that was more like cloth then a a plastic material that made sounds when it was opened and closed. It just didn’t seem like velvet to me. You get what you pay for sometimes so I decided to pay more and get better.

Beautiful velvet pouches is all I can say! - I ordered these in a rush to send some gifts to friends overseas (some handmade jewelry). Maybe my expectations were lower, but when I received these (that by the way were delivered in 2 days - so much quicker than expected), I opened the package and the pouches are just perfect!
