So first off, this should not be 70 bucks... 40-50 tops. The urn is sterling, but the chain is stainless steel, and for 30 bucks shy of a c-note, that's a good amount of money. With that said, it is a really pretty urn that works very well. It didn't take long to put my mother's ashes in here, and the funnel and little poker thingy are included. It's weird ramrodding my mother's remains like i'm loading an 18th century cannon, but that's a different story. The vines on the cross are very intricate and everything is finished and polished very nicely. No raw edges or blank spots here. The blackening of the background gives the vines a good amount of depth. The cap has a rubber gasket to keep water from getting in and ashes from getting out, and the cap seals tightly. No issues with loosening thus far. Plus the silver must be coated with something, as it doesn't seem to be tarnishing yet. The chain is stainless steel like i said, but it's a nice rolo chain with an extra inch or two for adjustment. It seems like a strong enough chain, but i'm not going to yank on it to find out. I wish the presentation was better, as everything just comes in zipper pouches inside of a cardboard jewelry box. If you're giving this as a gift, do yourself a favor and open it up so you can pull the bags off and set the necklace into the foam backing. All in all it's a great charm with a chain that can be improved upon... and it's an elegant way to keep my mom with me every day
