These pearl earrings look elegant and expensive. They are not minimalist size. They seem to be classic and appropriate for dinner out, attending a wedding or a formal function but if you would wear real diamonds for any occasion you could easily wear these lovely pearl earrings. They are not heavy but have the weight of fine jewelry.

They are beautiful ear rings! Granddaughter was so happy to get them.

Nobody who uses the terms "diamond" and "moissanite" interchangeably gets top scores from me. Moissanite is moissanite, full stop. You can call it faux diamond if you insist - though I wouldn't because moissanite is a gemstone in its own right - but you cannot call it diamond, particularly not in your title, which doesn't even contain the word moissanite. If you're trying for key words, that's fine, but you still have to tell the truth in every part of your description. The hoops are marked 925 and do not react to a magnet. Twelve of the fourteen moissanites passed thermo with flying colors. The other two didn't fail so much as I got an odd reading. The probe is telling me the stone is metal, but then giving me a positive reading (a passing score, in other words). In years of wearing and testing moissanite, I've never had that happen, but I've now had it happen twice in a week. I'm not prepared to say they're not moissanite by any stretch, just that this is bizarre and requires further research. I can't find anybody who's had similar experiences. (The probe has worked perfectly for plenty of stones here recently, and the battery is brand new. It may be time for an upgrade to a multigem tester - this is just a diamond tester pen - if this keeps happening.)The pearls are real, but not great quality. One of them is much better than the other. That one only has a small pit visible to the naked eye, so it's more or less eye clean at a reasonable distance. The other has, pits, white streaks, and white dots that are visible to the naked eye. (What I'm calling white streaks and dots are flaws in the nacre where there are streaks and dots of bright white in an otherwise ivory pearl.) The luster on both is reasonably good, flaws excepted. Looking at the flaws I almost didn't bother testing to make sure they're real because no fake pearl looks like that streaky one, but I did anyway just to be thorough. If both pearls were reasonably eye clean, like the one good one, I'd say this is a decent buy. They're not, though, so at $80 I'm going to say these are well overpriced for the pearls specifically that you get.

IMHO this is a beautiful pair of earrings. I happen to prefer small to medium sized earrings, and find these to fit the bill perfectly, size-wise. I also love the design of these earrings. In particular, I like that they are "hoop huggie" earrings with the pearl firmly attached at the bottom. I like the small Moissanite Diamonds that are lined up on the front loop from pearl to post, and they do, indeed, give the sterling silver added sparkle. The pearl is the perfect size for these, just large enough to catch attention but not to overwhelm. The back of the hoop is a leverback that folds down to put on the earring and swings up to latch onto the post and secure it. It operates very smoothly and has enough tension not to open unintentionally. The combination of sterling silver, 'diamonds', and pearl make these earrings suitable for just about any occasion, from casual to formal. They will go with any outfit, anywhere. I just love them and will wear them quite often.
