We ordered two of these as gifts and neither stone had any opalescence. The stone was mostly flat white with tiny flecks of white, but no blue or pink shine that you think of with a quality opal. Also, both chains were severely tangled. So much that we returned both necklaces. They were not worth $149.

Anyone can get a necklace anywhere. This was suppose to be a natural opal it is a lab grown opal. False advertising.
