I just recieved the necklaces (I ordered two one emerald and one sapphire) and they are definitely not what I expected. They're very dainty and both of the necklaces came with knots in them. I can't even untangle them with fear of breaking them. The gem is also very small, I didn't expect anything huge but at least a decent size. Hindsight, do your research.

My husband bought this as a gift for me, for the birth of our son and it was kind of disappointing. The chain was so tangled and flimsy even after an hour of trying to untangle it delicately it snapped. Never even got to try it on. And the stone is very small. It has beautiful color, but it is little.

Update: just found out that the stone fell out of this 2 months after I gave it as a gift. Very disappointed.Bought this as a gift in rose gold. It was just as advertised and is beautiful.
