6 year old new ballerina adores this necklace and it gives her insight into the beauty of the structure of the performing dancer it is modeled after. The pendant is beautiful and compliments the beauty around it perfectly.The chain looks nice and just as good as any gold chain over the last few months. Just like the Steel wedding band I picked-up after loosing my priceless platinum band in a cold stream or slippery massage appointment, but I don't even notice the difference now. The ballerina can't decide if she likes the Unicorn necklace or ballerina better as she likes them both this much with her arms stretched to the max. No regrets for this necklace and I'd get another for every budding ballerina
