I needed an "Amethyst" gift for my husband for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. I wanted something not terribly expensive yet nice. These exceeded my expectations! Hubby loves them and has worn several times already. They are heavy, color is sharp and clear, setting is well done and even. They certainly look much more expensive than they were. I am happy with the gift and felt like they will last a long time. Really a beautiful, deep purple color.

There is fine crystal and then there is the weird plastic that these are made from. The setting is very nice, but the color and texture of the inner "crystal" is off. I bought these as a gift for my fiance, purple will be a color-they will be fine for this one time use, but if I had seen them in person first, I wouldn't have bought them.
