This is a beautiful high resolution image of the Buddhist goddess or saint Guan Yin (Kuan Yin, or Quan Yin). There are actually two identical images of slightly differing sizes sent in an acylic (?) that is tear drop shape that has a flat surface on one side and a rounded convex side on the opposite site. The amulet/pendant itself is smooth and well crafted the clasp is a silver color and delicate and proportionally matched to the size of the whole piece. The chain is a silver color and mine already appears tarnished. I think the vendor may be better off just adjusting the price down and not including a chain. Many people who wear a Guan Yin amulet will be happy to wear it from a tough red colored string. Anyway, this chain is not acceptable for a new item. This amulet comes very well packed in two individual plastic bags, then stuck inside a vinyl reusable jewelry packet for safe keeping. This could make a nice gift if you change the chain.
