I really like amethysts, so I jumped on this when I saw it. It's really very pretty.It's great for earrings, rings, small jewelry. I would not use it for larger heavier things like keys because it's likely to knock off the amethysts with use. But for small pieces of jewelry that you want to keep track of, this is perfect.I got my initial but if I had a choice of a non-monogramed dish, I would have taken that. I just don't need my initials on things. And the placement of the initial is off center which I don't love. Although with the geode pattern on the other side, it does sort of balance out. Part of me wants to take the initial off, but I don't want to mess up the finish. It doesn't look bad with the initial, I just don't do a lot of initials.I think the dish is very pretty and would likely make a very good gift. I love practical gifts that the person getting it can think of you whenever they use it. Hopefully, they will think kindly of you!I also just love things for organizing. And this is so pretty, if you like the amethyst geode look - I do! the stones seem to be securely fastened. If it gets dusty I will probably rinse it off with cool water instead of trying to dust all the crevices.

I like this jewelry dish because it is just beautiful. The amethyst chips that create the crescent moon are a spectrum of variety in shape size and color. The glazing on the dish itself is done well, without any imperfections. The gold letter has clear lines and even coloring. I like that the edge is gilded. The amethysts are attached firmly to the dish, with none noticeably missing or distracting. This dish comes snugly packaged in a box that is perfect for gifting with the addition of a bow and tag (not included.)

This jewelry dish is small, but pretty. It fits in the palm of my hand so it really doesn’t hold much in terms of jewelry or anything else. You could probably fit a tea light on without issue if you decided to use it for something other than a jewelry dish. The faux amethyst is thicker than what’s presented in the picture.

This is a nice idea, and with some tweaking, it would be very giftable. The 'tray' (it's more of a 3-4 inches wide plate, to put earrings or rings on it) is fine, and the stones look nice and seem to be affixed well. The glaze and color is fine too. However, the monogrammed letter was obviously applied afterwards, not painted on. Which is ok, I suppose, except it looks like it. The letter on mine has a tiny ripple in it, and there are some marks on the tray itself that might be glue from the stones, which I can't get off. That's not real clear in my photos, as it was hard to catch the light just right. But it is noticeable. I may try to remove the letter, but I suspect I will ruin the finish. For $10, I think it needs to be made a bit better. I couldn't give it as a gift.

This is a great gift for a tween/teen. It has an initial letter for their name and the gem stones are little polished bits affixed to the ceramic plated. It is a descent size and can hold rings, a watch or bracelets.
