I was so surprised at the quality of these earrings. I wore them for a "Golf USA!" event recently and had so many compliments. I didn't find them too heavy, and I think they would be wearable for many occasions, not just 4th of July or red, white, and blue themed events. I've worn them with jeans and dressed down occasions, as well as for dressed up occasions, and they definitely get noticed.I think my main pleasant surprise was the quality for the price.

First off, they look great and they are worth buying but there were some issues. The posts are flat instead of round which can make them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. The little clasps had to be pushed together to actually hold the posts securely. There were also small dings in the smooth metal parts of the earrings. They aren't visible from the front but they obviously shouldn't be on new earrings. I still recommend them but know they may not be in perfect shape like they should be.

These earrings are very pretty and they lay just right. They are not heavy at all, even though they look like it might be. The colors are very vivid and the clasp is very strong and tight. They did not make my ears itch and I am sometimes sensitive to earrings because of that. I received many compliments on them. I wore them all day without any itching or without it feeling too heavy. They came packaged very well. These are perfect for Fourth of July or any other patriotic holiday. I would recommend these for any woman who wants patriotic earrings.

My husband purchased these for me to wear for July 4th activities. They are super cute. The earrings are large enough to been seen and to show the decorations without being overly gaudy. So lightweight that I forgot I was wearing them. I received compliments all day. Made of good quality, they don't look cheap.
