This crystal heart is actually pretty large, it's bigger than a quarter. The heart is made of real rose gold and the metal parts are zinc alloy. Zinc isn't as shiny as sterling silver and tarnishes easily, but that's to be expected at this price range. If you have sensitive skin the zinc alloy might cause some irritation too. The real beauty is the crystal though and you could always attach it to your own silver chain instead.

I am putting it on a heaver sterling silver chain that I already have. It has some weight to it. About the size of a silver dollar. The back has a rose design on it. Very good value it highly exceeded my expectations. Very deep purple color. Comes in a black velvet drawstring bag. Would make a beautiful gift.
