I was a bit surprised by how large this cross and necklace are. It definitely stands out when you wear it. If you want a subtle, everyday cross, this isn't it. When you wear it, it really makes a statement. I was also surprised to find that the lower vertical part of the cross is hinged. You don't really notice it and it doesn't affect the aesthetic of it. Wonder if it's there for safety so that you don't accidentally impale yourself with it if you fall on it? Not sure. The cross is attractive and will definitely draw people's eye to it when you wear it.
