This box exceeded all expectations! It's the perfect size for what I need. Beautifully crafted and a bonus for me was that the lid and bottom of the box interior are lined with velvet. Can't recommend enough.

I gave this five stars because I was really happy with the end result. I bought it for my oldest making his first communion soon. However, it did need some tweaks and fixes. When I received it there was a little nail inside the box, that belonged on the outside of the box attaching one if the lock pieces. I ended up taking all the nails out of the lock pieces and used a hot glue gun to reattach them back onto the box. Also, there was a little nail sticking up from the bottom lip of the box that was very sharp to the touch. I took a pair of pliers and took that out. There is still a little hole there but that doesn’t bother me at all. The box is beautiful, the wood is beautiful, the cross on the top is beautiful, and I love the felt lining inside the box. Overall extremely happy and will probably buy more for my other kids and myself.

Not necessarily the advertised size. One of the boxes are ordered was smaller than the advertised size. Also, cheaper screws, not as aesthetic, were used. That small difference mattered due to the size of the intended contents.To their credit, after I contacted the seller, they offered to exchange it, but mentioned that all the boxes were handmade and sizes could vary. That would be a worthy bit to advertise.Otherwise, with the proper hardware, it is a very nice box.
