Upon receipt I was a little surprised at the weight of this item. The necklaces and crucifix weigh 51 grams in total. The color of this crucifix and chain do appear to look like 18K gold. It is plated and not solid but the color is consistent.For the price of this set, there is a good amount of detail on the crucifix. Either chain does fit through the loop in the crucifix should you decide to use the heavier chain. The heavier link chain is slightly shorter than the other so if you wear both at the same time, then the heavier one will appear shorter like the pictures the seller provided. The clasp is a lobster clasp which I prefer. The loop on the crucifix is heavier so the crucifix won’t fall off the chain.This set comes in a gift box so it makes it easy for gifting. I am pleased with this set.
