So first the good. This is a really heavy duty pendant. I had contemplated turning this into an earring when I saw it listed. But when it arrived I realized that this is definitely destined to only be a pendant. They should have shown it with a quarter instead of that dollar coin because It's been years since I've seen one and I forgot how big that was. In any case, that is not a bad thing. the black enamel seems to have been applied in a quality way but I did not attempt to scratch it to find out. I doubt that will be an issue. Occasionally enameled jewelry peals or flakes and I saw no sight of that. This is not polished to a high mirror luster but it is still pretty shiny none the less. It appears to be made with good quality considering the price point. Nothing is crooked, (I have a low tolerance for crooked or uneven jewelry since I used to make jewelry for an upscale American jeweler)The chain was a surprise. I honestly have never seen that kind of chain before perhaps because my former employer never employed that style. That isn't a bad thing. It just looked unusual to me. The loop that chain goes through went through easily so far so good.Now for the bad. I say bad. It is almost trivial. When buying any sort of necklace or chain, the measurement they give should indicate that part that goes around your neck. That measurement has to do with how it fits around your neck. I honestly don't know if they chose to include the pendant part in the measurement to exaggerate the features or if they thought that was the way it was supposed to be measured. As a retired jewelry professional I can tell you that is NOT the way to measure. In any case I want to give them the benefit of a doubt but I can't because the pendant is much more than an inch long. If the listing says 24" Then the chain should be 24" not 23". I would forgive a quarter of an inch. Not an inch. So I must take one star away for this. I would have taken more stars off were it not for the low price. If they felt that 23" is all they could supply at this price point that is certainly understandable. They should then have stated 23" and I would have forgiven that. But not an entire inch worth of chain promised but not delivered. This will affect how this fits and how comfortable it is. I will have to use a different chain for this. Fortunately I have more chains. For the pendant alone I give this four stars

Heavy duty pendant and chain. The etchings are detailed and not sloppy! Definitely excited to add this to my Egyptian jewelry collection and I've already gotten compliments when I've worn it out and about. The combo silver and black gives the pendant some dimension and depth so this is a really wonderful piece. Don't sleep on this if you love ankhs!

Chain is comfortable to wear. Pendant has some weight to it but not enough to be uncomfortable to wear. No issues with clasp not working properly. Whole necklace is very sturdy. Great detail to the piece. Good price point. over all great piece.
