I bought these for my son's First Holy Communion. I had him wear them first for his pictures. He was not allowed to move let alone play lol so they did not get any wear & tear. He wore them yesterday for his actual communion, again under strict guidance to not get messy or wrinkly. Sooo glad they made it through the mass. Unfortunately they did not make it through the luncheon. I am not sure what happened but a man in the restaurant handed the cross to me, the back was lost. I had hoped to have him wear them for his Confirmation & then Graduation in a few years as a sort of tradition but no such luck. They were very pretty but I wouldn't recommend them, even for an adult.
