It's a little big for a child's wrist, but he'll obviously grow into it. I would definitely recommend this item.

The presentation of this bracelet is really nice! It's a bit of a bigger, more eye-catching piece, but not at all too clunky or obnoxious. The muted earthy tones especially help it be a bigger piece without being so obnoxious/flashy. Quite sleek, and has a very "natural", "hippie", or even "witchy" vibe.I don't know if there could even BE a better design for the tightening mechanic, because the nylon size adjustment strings make me worry that I'm going to break it when I try to tighten it. The strings also both have the same round onyx stones at the ends, which clink and dangle around a bit. They aren't very easily able to be tucked away, or I would likely do that. The stones are quite light, however, which helps. That's just kinda the way jewelry is though and, overall, I really do like this bracelet. The description claims that the nylon string/cord is durable, and I seemingly haven't gotten close to breaking it, so we will see if my durability concerns are warranted! The biggest concern was just how firmly I had to pull to get it to adjust and how thin the cord is.It's a very neutral design in my opinion, and I'd say the adjustment range is reasonably wide. My wrists are decently large (about 7.5 inches in wrist circumference), as I'm about 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. I can fit it fairly easily over my hand to be tightened at my wrist, and it can fit around my arm all the way up to my elbow at its absolute widest. I haven't found out how to tighten it myself without holding one string in my mouth and pulling on the other string, but it's a small price to pay. The one downside to the style is that the only way to get it on or off is to loosen/tighten it and you will have to be able to fit your hand through it to get it on. The dangling stones can be a little annoying, but at the end of the day it's really not that bad at all. It's just one round onyx stone on either end of the size adjustment strings. I just have sensory issues with them, and I also dislike the sound of the stones scraping/tapping on each other, lol.....____TL;DRBeautiful color tones. The stones are smooth spheres of shimmering golden tiger's eye (some stones aren't very shimmery/striated, but most are), cratered black lava rock (likely scoria that's been smoothed), and matte jet black onyx. All stones are smoothly rounded, and the tiger's eye is shiny and polished. Onyx and scoria (lava rock) are matte but smooth and dark. Lava rock has small craters typical of permeable lava stones, but is still very smooth. The appearance is very accurately represented in display pic including the little metal tree insignia and specially woven nylon design on the inner wrist. Cord is thin, seemingly durable, and black in color. Pull dangling inner wrist strings apart to tighten. Has the same rounded onyx stones attached to the ends of the strings which somewhat bother me, but that's preference. Plus, nobody ever said jewelry wasn't a little dangly sometimes. Beautiful bracelet. Good adjustment range, but must be able to fit hand through to put it on. Takes a good firm tug to adjust, so it stays where it's left at.Hippie vibes, maybe a little witchy, very neutral design, and quite well made.

This is a very nice bracelet. My husband loves this combination of stones and in particular the tiger eye. I ordered this for him as a gift and was very happy with the bracelet. The little black gift box is nice for gift giving BUT for some reason they thought it would be a good idea to place a tacky white sticker right on the top center of the gift box. OF course I am not sure if this was just an accident on the actual item I got, or if this is a common practice and all are shipped this way. However, it does take away from the appearance and even with carefully peeling off the sticker you can still see it was there. Nice bracelet, nice gift box, next time put the sticker on the bottom of the box please.
