This urn necklace is solid and the 20 inch snake chain is sturdy but not too thick. I have been wearing the sterling silver version every day for a while now, and it has worn very well. Because of the inexpensive price, I wasn't sure if my neck would turn green or if the necklace would chip but it looks as new as when I took it out of the box. It is so much better than I expected. The Seller shipped on time and the packaging was very protective. I recommend the purchase . . . and am so sorry for your loss.
