I have purchased a lot of jewelry, much of it online, and though I felt good about this purchase, I was concerned that 1) the checkerboard cut could be a little rough, and 2) that the deep blue could look more like black. I was so happy to find that neither was the case!Because this necklace is a present for a lover of blue, I was so happy to note a robust, distinct hue on the stone of this pendant. It's a vibrant sapphire color, but doesn't look "lab-created" or in any way artificial. (By the way, a stone can online be advertised as a "created" stone if it shares the same physical and chemical properties as a mined stone, so this is a real sapphire.)The checkerboard cut is crisp but not distracting, I was pleased to find. The box chain is of high quality, which means this necklace is really a 2-for-1 deal: So many times, pendants like these come with cheap rolo chains you'll throw away and have to replace, but this comes with a beautiful, sturdy box chain in .925 sterling that should stand the test of time! Also, I don't think the pendant is especially small. It's not huge, but it will definitely show up well around your neck.All in all, I'm thrilled with this pendant as an impactful but not too expensive present for a classy lady! I highly recommend this.

Overall, the product is acceptable. It is a good quality and the shipping was prompt,but the stone is much smaller than it seemed like it was online. However, it is very pretty. Would recommend product as long as shopper is looking for a smaller stone.

I bought this as a gift for my wife, who had been wanting a necklace with a blue pendant. For the price I wasn't expecting anything outrageously nice, but the gemstone in this particular necklace looks completely fake. It's more like something I would give to a small child to play dress-up with than something I would expect to see an adult wearing.

I didn't have a lot of $ this Christmas and I've never ordered jewelry on-line so I was careful to review the jewelry "lingo" and ~500 pieces of on-line jewelry for my best buy and then cross my fingers. Well, my thorough searching and good luck paid off, AND I stuck to my budget. My daughter, to whom I sent the gift, said, "It's beautiful Mom!" This of course made me very happy! The only problem I had was that I couldn't send a card or tag to let me know it was from me. I'd order jewelry from Amazon on-line again; however, it would be nice to send a label w/the sender's name next time so the recipient will know who the item is from.

This necklace is so beautiful the pictures don't do it justice. It comes in a gift box which is great for wrapping. It was a gift for my mother in law who has the earrings. She absolutely loved it.
