Best dive strap on the market.

Unfortunately, I am returning this strap. I gave it two stars, as the quality of the material seems very good. The problem is, it would not attached to my watch (SRPB51) securely. When the strap was fitted, the spring bar did not fully sit in the lug hole of the watch. It almost appeared as if the strap didn't sit close enough to the watch head to allow the spring bar to fully seat in the hole. Because of this, the strap would pop off the watch with just a slight twist. I could see this happening during wear if one were to bump their arm or wrist up against something, causing the watch to fall to the ground. I have read other reviews of users saying they had to modify the strap some to get it to fit securely. I don't think having to modify it from the start should be necessary when you are paying $65.00 for a strap. I hope they figure out this fitment issue, as it feels like it would be a great strap.

You can get very comfortable silicone and rubber straps for about $10. These guys charge $65 just because the curved edge fits the samurai and they are the only game in town. So, I begrudgingly forked over the money. But, I expected something that was at least the quality of the $10 straps. That seems fair right? Wrong apparently. It's plastic is more akin to the SKX007 OEM strap than the SUN065 strap, which is to say hard, unbending, uncomfortable, and looking cheap. Given that the one I was given even had a tiny strip of plastic still attached from improper cutting out of the mold, I'd wager that it is cheap plastic. The metal clasp is unevenly brushed with obvious blemishes. And, the "flush fit" that your paying so much for is poorly designed. It's a real squeeze to get it on and the pressure of the poor fit causes the lugs they provide to dig into the watch's lug holes and leave a very obvious dent. While such a dent can't be seen while wearing the watch, a product that costs this much over it's competition should be expect at the very least to not damage the watch you are using it with. So, to summarize, were I to buy this again I wouldn't pay $10 for it, much less the $65 they ask.
