I got my ears pierced just over 1.5 years ago but have had a lot of trouble with irritation in my piercings and they have been slow to heal. However, I've been dying to rock some large hoops! Because of my healing difficulties I really wanted to find hoops that were quality steel with a straight post (no curve!) that I could trust to have a post that was a good metal (not just the main earring). I admit I was skeptical to buy off Amazon (especially at this price) but I wore the medium size hoops from this set during a long night out two nights ago and my piercings are still irritation free. The largest size in the set felt a little too heavy in my piercing so I declined to wear those just yet, but the middle size one was just right and I even got a couple compliments.
