I bought this to wear for my wedding. Within about 2-3 hours of wear, my neck had a green band around it under the necklace. When my bridesmaid pointed it out to me, I was just about to cut the cake with my new husband. Knowing there would be photos taken of the cake-cutting, I wanted to see how bad this green on my neck was. So I ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror and as I lifted it off my neck to see, the necklace broke apart. It literally fell apart right between the center (thickest) part and the section it attaches to next to it. The little metal thing that holds them together broke and I had no way of fixing it before photos and cake-cutting happened. So then I tried to wipe the green off my neck but it also took off some makeup. I ended up with a big red area where I had wiped and still had some green left that I wore the rest of the reception.I do not recommend this necklace! I had purchased 2 other necklaces off Amazon for my bridesmaids that held up great. However, this one just didn't work out. So disappointed.
