I bought this strap to fit to a just purchased a Timex Expedition T40051 Field Watch. My watch has a green face with 36mm case width and 18mm lugs. The leather strap that came with it just wasn't going to cut it. With 18mm lugs, I debated whether to purchase an 18mm NATO or attempt to squeeze on a wider strap. I also was debating the finish and color of the hardware to go with the brushed case of my Timex.I decided to squeeze on a 20mm Clockwork Synergy NATO in Army Green with brushed finish. Admittedly I haven't had the chance to try out many NATO straps. This one has stitching to reinforce the hardware, and the hardware itself is nicely finished. As expected, the 20mm band on the 18mm lug Timex would be a squeeze. However, in this case I believe the wider band is worth the slight bunching between the lugs. (see pics)I wasn't sure how long this strap would wear. I have 8 1/4" circumference wrists and I will show the tag end in my picture. Bigger wrists and the tag might not catch the second loop. Smaller wrists could fold and tuck the tag in the loop.I wanted to post to give people ideas of how to match up this band. I had looked up reviews of oversizing bands to lug width, but didn't see this combo. I think the slightly wider band in this case gives a bit more substance to an admittedly smaller watch by today's standards.

Very well made strap that looks great, and when paired with a black dial and stainless steel sports watch, suits it perfectly. You can look (and feel like) James Bond with a suitably chosen Rolex Submariner.

I love the look of this watch band, it is very simple and timeless. However as a guy with large hands and wrists, I found that these ones were short, they were only just long enough to wear and be able to double back with the strap. Aside from the length being a little short for us large handed people, the band is starting to show some wear after about a month. The band is bulging behind the hole I use to sinch up my watch. It has not yet become an issue however I think that over time it will eventually tear a new hole. Decent band though.

I like it, it looks great and all as expected.

Too thin. The material on these is way too thin. Maybe they were going for confort on these but I have some thick nato straps that are very confortable so I'm not sure what's going on here. The material is definitly nylon but is so thin that it feels like a piece of cotton fabric. It feels really flimsy.

I used this on an American flag watch. I really love the fact that there is no mistaking this band for a French or Russian flag band. Most bands have just red, white, and blue strips....this is a true flag, setting it apart from others. Awesome!

I have had this strap for a few weeks. So far it is great. I find it much more comfortable than the original strap on the watch.

Slightly too large/wide (but workable) for my watch. Fabric is very/too stiff. I was able to trim and melt the edges easily. Nice color.
