They didn't have any weird smells or excessive packaging to get rid of.These look very nice. I like that the set includes on pair in gold and the other in silver. I've recently contemplated piercing my ears. I'm a little fearful of the initial pain but more afraid of possible skin infection and/or irritation from metal allergies that I have. My mom has metal allergies so bad that her skin has broken out and other times turned greenish which isn't fun. These are a nice first step for me. They clip on easily and come with little styrofoam studs that are even more comfortable to wear. They're light weight and really easy to adjust which you can't always do with piercings for obvious reasons. I like that you get to play with both silver and gold. The freshwater farmed pearls are amazingly beautiful and bright! Definitely quality that I'd recommend because they're inexpensive but don't look cheap at all! :)

These are very pretty, but even with the little cushions my ears were in pain by the end of the day; the kind where you don’t realize how much it will hurt till you take them off and your ears hurt for several days! Not wearing them ever again.

My MIL has never gotten her ears pierced, and I have a hard time finding delicate clip-on earrings for her. Many clip-ons are huge and gaudy - which is not her style. She loves smaller, delicate earrings...and she loves pearls.Bingo.These ADAIER clip-on pearl earrings are exactly that. A single pearl. Petite and dainty. Very pretty. Very classy.As for comfort, they didn't pinch or feel heavy. I found the cushioned tab to be a bit finicky. It is not in the metal part very snugly, so it is easily pushed out. And, at least one of the cushions looked a bit gouged/scratched.For less than $10, you can get 2 pair - both gold and silver. This would coordinate with any other jewelry choice, so I like the 2 pack option! AND... ADAIER has a 100% money-back guarantee in their description 'if not delighted,' they say! So...I think these delicate pearls are a pretty and inexpensive choice for a clip-on earring wearer.

These are like a 4.5 stars they are discrete and the cushion in the back of the clip makes them feel better. I wore them for 6 hours and did not notice them very much at all (except for hitting the phone when I talked) and I am apt to notice discomfort. I like the inexpensive price and that they are in gold-tone and silver-tones.
