I love this watch. The look is very classy and understated. Black goes with anything, and the watch isn't trying to call attention to itself. The markings are clear and easy to read. The leather strap is soft and has a nice texture to it that holds up after repeated wearings. Best of all, this watch tells you what day it is in a clear, elegant, full-word arc on the top. This feature alone puts this watch above 90% of the watches out there. It isn't "SUN" or "fRi" or "THR." It is "Sunday" or "Monday." I also like how both the day and the date manage to be on the watch face without bumping into any of the hour markings. A lot of times you'll see the 3 o clock marking used for the date, leading to bizzare moments where it seems to be 13 o clock or even 29 o clock. It is easy as pie to set the day, date, and time on this watch. The battery has lasted me for over a year since purchase. It doesn't have a light, but the hands do glow in the dark, and the high contrast of the back face and silver markings makes for easy reading in low light. The watch has a very soft "tick" that you won't hear unless you hold the watch very close to your ear; it is not the sort of watch to keep you awake at night or distract you while you are sitting quietly. The watch is rated as water resistant, but as it has a leather strap, I have not tested this out myself. This watch looks, feels, and performs like a watch that cost way, way more. Highly recommended.

If you like the Hamilton King Khaki look, this is a must buy. I put mine on a NATO strap (20mm lug width btw), mostly to keep the stock leather strap it came with pristine for formal use.Works as an everyday or dress watch. If it had 100m of water resistance and a sapphire crystal, I wouldn't need another watch as long as I live. I might still WANT others, but I certainly wouldn't need them because this would last forever. As it stands, I'll likely replace this in a decade or so (if all goes well), hopefully with something similar.

The watch is beautiful and keeps time perfectly. It is a mid size watch and fits the average wrist size well. It looks like an expensive watch. The day of the week shows up clearly, but the date is a bit small. Unfortunately the hour hands do not have night glow, so you can't see the time in the dark. The strap is a bit cumbersome to use. Other than that, the price is totally worth the quality of this watch.

Very good looking watch. I got it for the day display and am very happy with it.Some things worth considering (not really cons at this price):The watch is on the smaller side, case diameter is about 38mm.Case and bezel are not stainless steel, they have some kind of ion plating and are super shiny.Dial markers are not lumed.

Good Casio watch, stylish and good value.

I purchased this watch as a cheap alternative to the Omega AquaTerra 150m Day Date (model 231.13.42.22.01.001) as this Omega model was discontinued several years ago and I just loved its dial design. After looking for alternatives I found this Casio to be a very close match on paper to the look of the Omega. It is well made and, for the price, offers great value. I appreciate that there is an ocean of difference between a sub-$70 Casio quartz watch and a mechanical Omega with silicon free balance spring and co-axial escapement. The only issues I have with it relate to its relatively small overall size and aspects of its face design that make reading the time harder than the marketing images would suggest. I have a 8 1/2" wrist and the watch is just a bit too small to be the perfect size. The band is good, but to fit my wrist I am using the very last hole available. The contrast of the white background/black text of the day and date complications set in the black dial is attractive. The day window is only just large enough to read the day text in bright light conditions but the date window is too small, for me at least, to read the date number. Finally the design of the face with raised 'spokes' in the inner circle, very thin hands which so closely match the stick hour indices that they look the same and are made of exactly the same material and lack of anti-reflective coating (that I can tell) on the crystal makes it really quite difficult to read the time quickly. The marketing images make the hour indices look almost white, but they are the same highly polished steel as the hands.I am certain it will give me many years of good service, and for its price I can't be too harsh.

It was a gift my son requested and he was very pleased with the watch.

Very classy watch! I own three Casio watches and believe me when I say that this one out shines the rest! The appearance is one of class and simplicity. The black face actually gives this watch a prestine and crisp look!If I had purchased this watch first I would not have gotten my other two -Buy this watch! You won't be sorry. My only complaint would be that the date is a bit small and is somewhat difficult to read.Other than that this is a great watch!
