I love this watch. It looks cool and has a classic appearance. The white dial face and the thick, bold numerals are easy to read. The minute and hour hands are a glossy blue which contrasts itself with the white face.If you are purchasing a wind-up pocket watch for the first time, make sure to do some research first. Pocket watches are totally different technology. Typically, they are set every morning and manually wound up (be careful not to overwind). Generally, the watch will run all day long, only to stop sometime early in the morning (in the middle of the night) the next day. Then, you repeat the process when you wakeup.It's pretty accurate, but it may gain or lose a few seconds during the day.This is normal. If you carry it in your pants pocket, the only orher thing in that pocket should be the watch chain. The chain is not mettle and shouldn't scratch the crystal. Anything else in that pocket may scratch it.
