I wanted a black watch for daily wear that I was casual, but nicer than for yard work, hanging out in the garage and puttering. This fits the bill perfectly, elegant but not suit-and-tie day; even though the Promaster Air Skyhawk would work for that too. I have owned this watch for over a month before reviewing. The dials glow quite brightly in the dark after being outside and I like the blue color. I have a Carty quick release watch strap that I also put on the watch for when I am outside swimming, or the Wife wants to wear the watch. (She likes that she can read the dial without her glasses on.) I wish all watches came with quick change straps. Looks good with both straps. I don’t need all the functions for fuel calculation, but I like atomic timekeeping. Both my Seiko atomic and Citizen atomic watches tick to the exact second, love at first sight. I like the orange accent colors on the watch, at first, I wasn’t sure I would like the subtle splash of color. I bought a band with orange stitching, and it looks great. Sorry I’m not the best photographer with my non-dominant hand. I’m left-handed but took photos with my right. Keep your eye out for amazon sales as the price for this watch can fluctuate by $100.00’s any given week. My only complaint is the strap. You do have one hole to micro-adjust the strap size in the clasp. At the cost point of this watch, it should be a given. I have large wrists but not like some of my friends that are well over 6’. I had to remove one link for proper fit, but they would need a few extra links. I’m sure Citizen would send you a link or two if needed but at this price point, they should include a few in the box. Don’t get me wrong, I like the watch and it’s a keeper. Hope the black finish lasts a long time. I had a Seiko with black Ti coating that looked good for over 10 years of wear. I’ll see how the Citizen watch holds up.

After my wife purchased my very first Citizen watch for me (Eco-Drive P-CAT) for my birthday this past March, I fell in love with Citizen. So much so I started looking at other Citizen watches to purchase and I came across this model (Promaster Skyhawk which is also an Eco-Drive) in which I purchased this and it arrived soon after. Like my first Citizen watch, it was quite difficult to set the time especially since it did not come with instructions. However I was able to watch youtube videos on how to set this watch just as I have done before with my first citizen watches and was successful in setting this watch. Just like with my first Citizen watch, this watch blew me away. My Promaster is slight bigger than my P-Cat yet because it is made from Titanium, it is noticeably lighter than my P-CAT. This watch is very light on my wrist and very comfortable to wear not to mention the technology in this watch is outstanding. You cannot go wrong with this watch but then again it is a Citizen watch so you can’t go wrong if you go with Citizen period. Beautiful watch. I am looking foreard to purchasing my next Citizen Watch.

The most accurate watch I have ever owned. I have been checking it against internet time sources and it is always correct! I use the alarm features daily - excellent. Super watch. Recommended.

I'm a Navy and Army vet, and have 10 other high quality watches I've fallen in love with and still wear on an alternating basis. I now have a new favorite among them, so much so that I've stopped rotating them in as much. This watch looks extremely cool, has all the features I need (including an alarm, which other versions of this watch do not have--plus it's solar powered with a charge meter and features I'd need to look up in a pilot's manual or on YouTube to learn to use, though they seem easy enough if you're an actual pilot), and it feels great on the wrist. I've been wearing it to the office for a couple of months now, with no problems and no discoloration of any sort. Very happy with this purchase. I haven't gotten any "pilot wanna-be" looks as its very well designed and gives an overall military/high-end classy appearance thanks to its immaculate design. Love this watch! If I had to give up all of my watches and keep just one, this would be the one!

Very Impressive looking watch, Movements began as soon as I opened the Case & self set to accurate time. It is very light on the wrist for its size. I am now looking for same watch in Black ;) I highly recommend.

It feels very comfortable on the wrist, it feels and seems to be "robust". Perfect for a everyday use.Takes time to understand the Slide Bezel Rule as it seems to be nonsense but: READ THE MANUAL when trying to understand how it works and use a calculator to compare results.Atomic features works perfect!It would have been great if CITIZEN could have:1- Raised the bezel ring a couple mm to get an extra protection on the Sapphire Crystal.2- Make the Scale Markings and numbers a little bit bold for a better reading.3- A & B buttons to be screwed-down.

Citizen what a very accurate atomic watch in the Promaster. It is a little touchy to set up, but when it is completed, you can forget about touching it again. The black finish is satin, goes with the tux or the denim shirt. Very easy to read, even in the dark. The capacitor battery is estimated to last 5 years before it should be replaced. I have a older Promaster that went 20 years before I had the capacitor battery replaced, and it was still working.

Este reloj no parece ser una buena compra. Demasiado complejo para funcionar, el manual de instrucciones que se descarga de internet no esta claro, ni describe l;as funciones con certeza. Luego de tres dias, no hay forma de cambiar la hora de LAX que tiene prefijada. En fin , el reloj ha resultado un fracaso.No hay un lugar donde ir personalmente a que lo instalen, y la ayuda por internet se reduce a FAQ.Por telefono luego de mas de 40 minutos de espera, nadie atiende.NO recomiendo a nadie comprar este reloj en estas condiciones. Yo lo voy a devolver.
