If you like the feeling of something substantial on your wrist that still fits under the sleeves of your shirt, this might be the chronograph for you. The watch is classic in its form but slightly more aggressive in its presentation; it’s the watch you’re going to strap on to go the racetrack with its stopwatch capability and tachymeter dial around the face. Citizen design prevents all this testosterone from leaning too far in the direction of garishness though, keeping the face and colored dials muted to fit with the beautiful stainless case and bracelet. The watch is Citizen quality throughout.The chronograph dials are interesting but superfluous unless you are timing your train ride or have to clock in with military precision. The tiny dials look good but you’ll need excellent eyesight to ascertain what you’re looking at without study. The date window in similarly small and requires a second look, but hey, you have a phone in your pocket with all that information anyway. The details add to the masculine character of the watch, function comes second to design.

Very classy and sporty looking watch that keeps very accurate time. The face is easy to read and the heavy band feels very nice and substantial on the wrist. This is an eco-drive watch so will essentially convert any light into energy to power the watch. The idea of never having to replace batteries is such a relief knowing that you will never suddenly turn to your watch only to find that it has stopped running. There are three smaller dials within the face and the watch is water resistant.

Citizen makes a great watch. but they do not include instructions in the packaging. the model number on the back of the watch is so small that it is impossible to read... if you are lucky enough to figure out the model number and try to get instructions from the website, it takes two business days.... not real great customer service for a quality watch... will write a performance review when and if I get instructions and have the watch working.
