I bought a Citizen eco drive watch several years ago and liked it a lot and but in the end it migrated to my husband's use. I had been gifted a different watch later but it unfortunately died so I was back in the market and returned to Citizen and again an eco drive (from the warehouse at a decent deal, I might add). I'm a little confused though as the ad calls this women's but when I received the package it says men's. It's not small and dainty but I've also seen larger watches; I suppose this could be called unisex. The mesh wristband is comfortable but also somehow a bit stiffer than in my previous non-Citizen watch.The clock face is easy to read but the date is rather small for my eyes. I also must not have read the description well as the hour marks are rose gold color so the watch is a nice stainless-rose gold combo. I was expecting silver-colored everything. However, this is not the least bit or tacky. I got déjà vu vibes as my dad had a watch with similar design way back.It keeps the time well so far. You can't see the time in the dark but that is not a deal breaker for me.

Great watch! I was looking for a watch with at least 30mm case and this one not only fits the bill, but it is gorgeous! The rose gold and silver mix is subtle and classy. The price was great too as it is about three quarters of the price from the official Citizen website. This is the third or fourth Citizen watch I own and I just love the eco-drive feature. I was laughing when I looked at the order page again when there was a note saying "the return rate of this item is high". Some customers thought it is fake because they didn't see a round logo - I can testify all my authentic ones bought from Citizen's website do not have a round logo. It does not mean it is fake, the watches comes with model number, serial number, etc. You can also go to their website to register your watch for the warranties they offer. Some customers complained about the band being too long - of course - you do need to adjust it yourself, or go to a jeweler if you don't know how to do it. It so happen I have an in-house expert, aka, my husband. So I really have no complain and am happily enjoying this new wonderful time piece.

Love, love, love this watch! Mesh strap is comfortable, watch face is easy to read, date window is also easy to read. I’ve worn Eco-Drive watches ever since I had a watch battery die on the way to catch overseas flights - twice. Eco-Drive watches recharge via ambient light, both indoors and outdoors, so no need to buy more batteries. Perfect!Since the seller has neglected to show more than one photo, there are a couple of things that surprised me which I’d like to share. First, I didn’t catch the question about the band. (My error.) I thought it was a standard mesh band, but it’s not. It is a mesh version of a traditional leather band, so there are holes in the strap and a metal buckle. The strap is very well made and buckles easily, however it does feel loose and slippery. I was worried about it opening and sliding off, as one buyer previously mentioned, but I’ve not had that problem. Despite the initial loosely-goosey feel it has stayed stable and secure. There are two sliding bands to secure the strap end. They are separate and can be placed together or spaced apart according to personal preference.The watch face is very easy to read. The background is a lightly textured, matte finish in silver. The hands, crown, hour marks and numerals are in a soft, shiny rose gold (which isn’t nearly as pink as it looks in the seller’s photo. The crystal face is flat - no magnifying bubble over the date.The other thing that surprised me about this watch was how thick it is. It is a substantial piece. I measure it at 5/16 of an inch (so just over 1/4 inch) from back of case to surface of crystal. It is proportionate with the strap and not clunky by any means. But if you are looking for a sleek, slim line this is not it. But if you’d like a “boyfriend” style watch that’s sized to a woman’s wrist, this is it. I have a pretty thin wrist and it still fits well.(Note: In case you’re wondering, this opinion has been written voluntarily because I like the product. I have not received any compensation or other consideration for this review.)

Bought this for my mom for Christmas. It already came with the correct time a date. If your looking for a new watch I recommend this one!

... the watchband does not hold very well. The end keeps slipping out of the little holders, which is very annoying.
