This ring is just as vibrant and colorful as it appears, especially in incandescent light. The pinks are bright Barbie pink, and the purples are a luscious amethyst purple. The created opal has firey greens and blues that flash and pop as the light source shifts. The metalwork is not quite a true black, it's more like the color of hematite which is a deep charcoal grey.I like this ring very much, and the price for such a fun ring is awesome! If you have a little girl on your shopping list, or a teen who loves dainty bling, this is the perfect gift. The ring is quite small, but it has a lot of presence on the hand, and folks will notice it. I'm not sure if the finish is up to the rigors of daily wear, but it's certainly well-constructed enough to wear often. For work or play, this ring is appropriate. I keep thinking of party favors...if your daughter has a slumber party or birthday party, this would be a fun and appropriate thank you gift form the hostess. All the girls who have the ring will remember the party and the other guests as long as she owns the ring.I love rings, I love all kinds if different jewelry, and I have TONS of the stuff. But I didn't have any thing like this! I love pink and purple, so it will go with half my wardrobe. I'd love to see this company offer matching pieces...a bracelet would be AWESOME!! Earrings and a pendant would be wonderful, too. I'll definitely be back for more of these gorgeous created fire opal pieces; it's what all opals want to grow up to look like! I'll be watching to see what other tempting designs this company comes up with.It arrived way sooner than expected, too, which is always good. It was about 10 days sooner than they had said it would be, so thanks for that!

I saw this ring and the darker metal caught my eye- it is VERY pretty, truly! I tend to wear only fine silver and white gold, but I like unique pieces as well- has to catch my eye. This ring has a very colorful appearance that does NOT look fake or cheap- it looks very nice for the price I paid. I would buy one again for a friend or family member and others who have seen me wear it- friends and family and strangers have all asked "Where did you get that ring!?" I say Amazon.It did take a little longer to arrive but it came well packaged in a nice black box. I wasn't sure how great it would look because it's not too expensive- this is a PLUS for this amount of look in a ring- but it arrived, looks VERY feminine and unique and I am glad I decided to buy it. Thanks to the maker, this ring is a taker- lol- I'm a poet- couldn't resist haha!If you have younger girls or teens in your life and they like this look- definitely get it for them- they will LOVE!I am very happy with this purchase and will look for more from the same designer.I do NOT know anyone who makes this ring or sells it.Thank you for a pretty ring design!

My fiancee and I had thoroughly discussed what kind of rings we wanted. She wears a size 8 and I wear a size 11. I knew we would have an easier time finding rings that fit her. I spent hours on Amazon looking at rings in my size. Either something was too expensive or I didn't like the reviews.I only had one requirement for my ring and that it had to have an opal. Opal gems have a special meaning for me. My fiancee wanted amethyst and preferably a dark band. So on the hunt I went.I came across these two rings in my search and I put them in my cart as a possibility. I continued looking, but kept circling back to these. They are from the same company and had pretty decent reviews. Best part they don't cost a fortune!I made my decision to get us these and I'm super happy I did! They are as beautiful as others have shown in their pictures. My only complaint is with the black coating. The coating came off on the band of my fiancees ring after 2 days. But luckily she doesn't mind because the important part of the ring is stunning. The rings fit true to size. There's a little wiggle room on both our rings, but they aren't loose to the point that they will fall off our fingers.My ring is a little chunkier than I'm used to but I just need to get used to it. I say if you are hesitant on buying an expensive ring these are a great alternative!

Beautiful, but the black coating is more grey, and it will wear off! *Excuse my ugly nails*This us my 2nd time purchasing this. My 1st ring turned a copper orange after a month. I actually lost it somehow, but I loved the pretty opals, so I ordered again. I put clear nail polish on it in hopes it won't turn copper colored again! It is quite big as well. So if you are not wanting your finger to slam into it, then I would not reccomend! Haha. It took me awhile to get used to it.

The colors of the opals are gorgeous! I don't wear my rings everyday, so it makes it more special! Not so big that it feels weird to wear, it is definitely a statement piece!!
