I removed the big gold ball on this necklace and got lots of comments about how nice it looked.

Two main problems with this necklace. The clasp is too close to the bulky end of the chain, and it makes it really hard to open the claw-type opening. The second problem is that the gold-tone of the chain doesn't match the decorative balls on the necklace. The chain looks orange compared to the spheres.

This is a no brainer!! It’s a definite statement piece!! This is really lightweight to be a bulkier necklace, so it’s not cumbersome to wear. It’s a special occasion necklace so I am not concerned about the gold tarnishing, and for $11?!? How can you go wrong even if you only wore it once or twice?? It’s really beautiful and looks high quality. I would not hesitate to order this again!! The clasp is secure, the links are secure, and the gold beads are smooth and shiny. It’s a very classy necklace!!
