Well made. Shiney gold and bright red on the orange red tint. I would buy again and am going to purchase the other one as well. It feels sturdy. The price is excellent, gifting would be great. Pretty inside and out, they even include a locking devise and a wooden comb. Red inside. I also purchased I payed Korean boxes, but for the cost these are a better choice. The others are lovely, but, very costly. I may buy a few to have on hand as gifts. Everyone would love these.

It's larger than I thought it was going to be which is a good thing because I was worried it would be too small to hold all of my jewelry. It has many different compartments inside and a drawer that can be pulled out for extra stuff. The box feels pretty sturdy and I love the design. It came pretty quickly with no damage. Would make a great gift but I'm keeping this one for myself.

The jewelry box is stunning - bright red lacquer with raised bright metallic gold peonies that shade to a peach metallic. The leaves are an antique gold shade. The inside is fully lined in red velvet, and there is a mirror on the lid. There are two levels, the first is a removable tray that is partitioned in thirds - 1/2 is a square area, that has a stunning embroidered base and then the other area has a smaller square and then a rectangular area that is set up for putting your rings.lift the tray for the second level, which is all open and fully lined. There is even a pretty wooden comb that you would use to massage your scalp and a lock that you can place on this jewelry box.This is such a quality item. I need to get the larger size now. This looks even more precious in person. It really has a mirror-like shine you don't fully see on the images. The drawer moves smoothly, and they even added a spare latch for the closure. It's heavy too, and robust.It does not look like anything about his sturdy jewelry box would break easily. Not only that, but it appears to be wood with lacquer (I don't know, just a guess.)I even kept the thick, red, sturdy box this came in to store some things.There's a slight odor of glue that I expect to vanish shortly.It's an absolute YES from me. I imagine who receives this as a gift will be thrilled too.
