The length is great and I can layer it with so many other pieces. I ordered the letter "J" and it stays in place really well, never flips upside-down or anything. I get lots of compliments.

I ordered 2 of these with different initials for Christmas gifts for 2 sisters. They arrived together and neither box was labeled which initial was in which box. I opened the packaging so I could figure out who got what present. I'm glad I did open it. The color, gold, was beautiful, and the necklace was of acceptable quality and thickness, but the initial was tiny. Very tiny, so small that it was hard to distinguish it when I held it in my hand. I repackaged the necklaces and returned them to Amazon.
