I got this chain along with a Charles-Hubert watch, so obviously they are meant to go together. There is no way to release the latch, and it came broken. Once in the latch, the watch would not come out and I had to use pliers to get the watch out. This chain didn't work from day 1 and I wish that I had never bought it due to the hassle that came with it. The belt-clip style that came with the watch works tremendously better, and the other person who wrote a review seemingly has no clue what he or she is talking about. I would give it a 0 star if I could.

Ridiculously packaged as if it were fine jewelry, this chain is medium quality. It is far better than the "belt clip" type with unusable fittings that generally comes with inexpensive watches. Those should be tossed into the rubbish bin immediately. This is more of a starter chain that will do nicely until your wife or girlfriend gives you a sterling silver one for your birthday.Slide the t-bar through a button hole and carry your watch in a vest pocket. This is obviously for dress wear, and is best used with a larger watch. For casual use you'll need a lobster claw chain for carrying your watch in a pants pocket:  B002NSME0Q
