The name "Charles-Hubert Paris is a fabrication. This watch has nothing to do with France or Swiss. The movement is an inexpensive device which must be hand wound. No pocket watch is powered by 'automatic wind" which refers to a kinetic rotor powered by movement of one's wrist (for a wrist watch). Listing this watch in the 'specification' area as an "automatic wind" is 100% misleading.

It is a very attractive timepiece, classy looking, engravable. It arrives in a cloth bag within a box, perfect for gifting! I thought at first the hands might be difficult to see with the open face, but i had no issues. For engraving, the surface inside both the front and back of the hunter case is brushed metal, but still engravable and legible. There's also a spot on the front/outside of the case that allows for a monogram.Also arrived very quickly in well-protected packaging.
