This chain looks fantastic, I bought it to use on an old Elgin pocket watch I purchased because oddly old vintage chains are as much if not more expensive than the watches themselves. This looks right at home even with the oldest time pieces and is a fraction of the price of the original chains.

I was rummaging through a box and found the pocket watch my grandfather gave my father for his graduation from Ohio State University in 1929. I decided I would like to use it and this watch chain is perfect. It has a nice finish and the chain is thick enough to make me feel secure that it won't break. The belt clip is excellent and very secure. I can now wear this piece of family history without fear of losing it.

My bro-in-law recently acquired a vehicle that does not use a key, but uses a remote. He was concerned that it may fall out of his pocket, so he asked me to order this Charles-Hubert, Paris 3547-W Chrome Finish chain for him. It serves the purpose, and was not too expensive. We hope that the Chrome Finish will not wear off. We will learn, as time goes by.

I bought a Colibri pocket watch A few days ago. It is a beautiful watch but the chain that came with it wouldn't fit anything but my key ring. It was very frustrating. This chain cures that problem. The only downside to it is that it costs more than the watch. It is worth it for me. The pants end has a clip instead of the useless one that came with the watch. This chain fits my blue jeans' belt loop and the watch fits nicely in my pocket watch pocket. This is the style that all pocket watches should have. I'm a happy camper again.

I'm no expert in this kind of things but the chain feels sturdy, it looks very nice and the clip fits perfectly on my jacket's pocket and my jeans belt loops so I'm very pleased. The delivery was quick and it arrived perfectly safe. I felt it a bit expensive though, but not a big deal. I like it and recommend it.

The hook slips. I can't hook it around belt hole. I have to hook it to belt. It's okay for now.

This chain works well for all intents and purposes. I have yet to see the long-term effects, but since I don't wear my pocket watch every day I don't see it becoming much of a problem. The clip is great for clipping on your pants with the chain going behind the belt and into your pocket and I'm assuming can also be used well with a vest or waistcoat. A great compliment to any good-looking silver pocket watch.
