I purchased and returned both of these Style #3726 watches. I liked them because they were a little smaller than most pocket watches and very attractive. I wear jeans most of the time and put a watch in my pocket with a few coins or keys that I might have at the time. Always have carried my pocket watches this manner. And never with the problems that I will list below. This is probably the very most expensive pocket watch that I have ever purchased at $80.The first watch stopped in my pocket 3 times and I considered it defective at that point and returned it for replacement. The second watch stopped once, but it kept changing the date on 3 or 4 occasions. I was able to reset the date with some difficulty finding the midpoint in the stem. On the last occasion, I was never able to find the midpoint to reset the date. i was able to reset the time. I sent it back for refund.On reflection, it appears that the stem is very easily moved in the pocket and will reset the time or the date. The stem spring or whatever holds the stem in place is very weak and the date adjustment is hard to locate. I do not recommend this particular model because it will not stand up to day to day use in the pocket and is certainly not worth the high price. I cannot speak of the other models of this brand as they may or may not be just fine.

The watch is beautiful and comes well-packaged with instructions and a beautiful box.I expected it to be fully mechanical, though. As it turns out, the watch requires both batteries and winding, which seems a bit much. I paid so much for this watch, expecting it to be a well-made mechanical pocketwatch that would run without batteries.

Very nice watch. My Grandpa loved it! Looked even better than the pictures had shown. Thinner than what he had been using.

I use this watch at work constantly. Its excellent and not "both" mechanical and battery. Only battery (thank goodness). The instructions give directions for both mechanical and battery for whatever watch is ordered by C-H. The only trouble I've found with the watch is that the clasp gets stuck after opening and you cannot close the cover without freeing the clasp button by turning the crown. I'm sure this is an easy to fix issue. Possibly needs deburring on the inside. Other than that, its excellent!

Product arrived promptly. There was a scratch on the inside cover of the watch, but I didn't want to go through a return good process and accepted the product. It is a good-looking watch that performs very nicely.
