I ordered this for my son's birthday. It arrived quickly and was in a well protected box to prevent shipping damages from happening.I appreciated the price point for this, because it is difficult to find a decent pocket watch. I understand this isn't the highest quality of watches, but I didn't want to pay top dollar either. I really think this watch is a great purchase for the price.The watch has a good weight to it. Not too heavy, but not a flimsy lightweight material that feels like it's going to break the first time you open it.The face and back are the same with a crest on both. The silver is a nice color. It would be easy to match a different chain if you wanted. The chain that comes with it is a shorter chain meant for pants, but you could purchase a longer chain and have 2 ways of wearing it.The watch opens to the side with a push of the crown. Pulling gently on the crown will easily allow you to set both the time and date. The hands are a slim silver style that point to the silver Roman Numerals. It is a very classic look.I will see how long this watch lasts and update this if we see any issues, or if it continues running without fail (which is what I would expect) As of today, I feel this was a good purchase for the price.

I have now had this watch for a month and I continue to be impressed. First of all, it is a very elegant looking watch, with the same intricate design front and back. At first, I thought that would be a problem. How to know the front from the back when opening the case? After just a short while, I realized that the back of the case was flat, while the front of the case was slightly curved and the curve was easy to identify just by touch. After having the watch for a month, I also was pleased that the quartz movement of this watch is very accurate. Mine has been accurate to within 30 seconds or less for the entire month. Next, the case hinge and case release button work very smoothly. This watch is not what I would call heirloom quality, but I expect it to be a good solid performer for many years.

I received this pocket watch today, just opened the package. Watch looks very nice. Too bad it does not run! I will take it to a local jewelry shop tomorrow and have a new battery installed. Hopefully the watch will then run (as it should have done today when it arrived). Very, very disappointed as I was really looking forward to receiving the watch. Oh well. Two days later: new battery, watch keeping perfect time.

So far so good. Only complaint, which is not so much a complaint but rather a suggestion, is that the numbers could be a few shades darker. That said, it's exactly as advertised and I'm a happy customer!

I love this watch, it keeps time very accurately. It's a nice looking watch, it is a little smaller than some and I'm ok with that it's easy to remove from my watch pocket on my Jean's. I'd purchase another with out a second thought. It is very gift able.

This is my first pocket watch and I'm glad that I invested in something more substantial. The chrome finish gives this watch an "antique" look (that is, in a world when "brushed" finishes are the mark of "modern"). Everything about it is stylish, but it's not hanging off my wrist, so it's not gaudy either.It has kept time very well over these first few months. I set it upon unpacking it from the box and haven't had to adjust it once. I look forward to this being something that a family member receives after I die (and I'm only in my mid-thirties).(Oh, and the best part is that it keeps my hands off of my cell phone, since I no longer have to check it for the time any longer!)

Nice looking but did not keep time accurately when it did work. The dial stopped working after a few days and now the watch is just a piece of useless metal. It didn't last 3 weeks. Total waste of money. I'll stay away from this manufacturer in future.

Reasonable price, okay quality. Needs to go to jewelers because something happened and now the case won't shut :-( Don't think I'd recommend.
