Ok, I'll go ahead and come clean right up front. I ordered this watch because it was the closest in appearance that I could find to the watch Jesse gave Walter White in Breaking Bad that didn't cost $5000. It's not exact, but it's Heisenberg enough for me.I swapped out the band (which is a brighter blue than it looks in the picture, so be aware of that) with a black crocodile grain band and it looks pretty good. I've gotten lots of compliments on it.I'm also female, but still love the chunkiness of this watch.

Sadly the watch in person looks less glamorous than the one in the photo. The band is a slightly lighter blue and and the numbers appear less crisp and detailed. Even if it was solely a recreational watch, I don't think it would live up the quality especially given the price. It is one of the few times in my Amazon history that I had to return something. I recommend you think twice before buying this watch.

This was a gift for my father who, loves watches, watches that stand out. I read previous reviews in that the watch band varied in color, what you see is what you get, at least that is what we experienced. The face is large and the style, beautiful.
