Bought for the father in laws birthday and I was impressed with the quality. The photos don't do the watch justice. It looks great from all angles and being a double hunter, the front and back can be opened, exposing the 17 jewel mechanism. Keeps pretty good time and my father in law was very pleased.

Nice. Bt both sides do not open all the way. It makes it seem a bit clumsy. the watch would be nicer if both front and back could open all of the way.

This pocket watch is absolutely beautiful. I got it as a gift to my daughter who graduates from High School soon. I have purchased a couple of pocket watches on Amazon and this one is excellent quality and my favorite.

The name "Charles-Hubert Paris is a fabrication as this watch has nothing to do with France or Swiss. The movement is an inexpensive device which must be hand wound. No pocket watch is powered by 'automatic wind" which refers to a kinetic rotor powered by movement of one's wrist (for a wrist watch). Listing this watch in the 'specification' area as having a "Swiss Automatic" is 100% misleading.

I purchased this pocket watch on a lighting deal for $160.00 and it is beautiful but the description and instructions were lacking. In one place it says it was gold plated but I did not find this information in the box. It also says it has a battery but it is wind up and I failed to find a battery. I decided to return the watch and do research on pocket watches. I want it as a gift and would rather spend the money for something I would be satisfied giving even if I had to purchase this watch again at the listed price. I also would order the same watch but in the stainless steel color.
