The media could not be loaded. Beautiful watch. Classy. Lots of positive comments from friends. I'm not sure but, think it took between 60 & 80 twists originally from dead stopped to full wind. Winding twice per day takes about 20-30 twists to full wind. I've only had the watch two days but, accuracy has not varied more than maybe a second or two over that time. The built in stand works fine. The thin black hands, though nice looking, are difficult to see in dim lighting (at least for me @ 68 yrs.). Would be better if hands were blue.**NOTE**: Although not mentioned in the description, this watch DOES come with a matching chain (belt hook type)! I had ordered a separate chain and will have to return it.Free two day delivery from order placement to front door with Prime.Bottom line: I like it.Addendum: I've now had the watch for a week. Still keeping perfect time. Happy camper.Addendum #2: Accuracy - After 38 days Approx. 1 minute fast. Not bad.I'm finding that most people are very surprised when I tell them that this is a new watch... looks antique.

This watch is beautiful on the inside. The finish on the metal is a bit cheesy (wish they would do a nice real brushed finish). Also the front "plastic" cover popped off of mine the second day - I snapped it back in but I worried it will pop off again and do irreversible damage to hands! Im going to try to replace with sapphire and re finish the case.

BE AWARE: The Specification area states the "Movement" is a "Swiss Automatic" NO, it is not. These watches are embossed "Charles-Hubert Paris" which is misleading. Manufactured in China with inexpensive mechanical movements which must be hand-wound to operate (absolutely nothing to do with any aspect of French manufacturing). NO pocket watch available anywhere contains an "automatic" movement (which refers to a movement containing an oscillating weight powered by kinetic energy - in the case of a wrist watch, by the constant movement of one's hand). Some attempts have been made to put an oscillating rotor on a pocket watch but failed due to lack of the owner's movement - it's usually placed in a pocket. I wrote to one Vendor about this and the reply was "It's an error by Amazon.com." No, it isn't. the "VENDOR" supplies this information, not Amazon.

Beautiful watch, but hard to see the hands.

The media could not be loaded. I liked this pocket watch so much I bought the other antiqued silver toned piece. These are really high quality and reliable time pieces that keep perfect time and will for years.
