The watch is beautiful and very nicely finished. The VH31 movement is superb. The crystal is flat and will reflect florescent light indoors but is no worse than other flat crystal watches, and has absolutely no reflective issues in the sun. Can be used to reflect the sun to a wall, but not nearly as good as other watches I have -- possibly due to the AR coating?I wear long sleeves, and I find that most current watches have to be forced under or out of the cuff. This one is no different. Would like to get the escapement time 36mm version of this watch to see if it would be more clothing friendly. At least this one has a screw down crown so the cuff doesn't pull the crown out and stop the watch.All in all it is a wonderful watch, and well worth the money.

I have been wearing this watch for over a month. Loving it.The movement is very accurate, 2 seconds off after a week. And, the second hand progresses 4 beats per second, giving it a sweeping feel like a mechanical watch. The watch case is very nicely built and beautifully designed. It looks simple, yet very classic and elegant. The creamy dial is also a clever design. It brings good contrast, under sunlight, to the polished markers and hands. Together, they make the watch look really nice under outdoor light.I changed the strap to an after market one. I think the black vintage strap makes the watch even nicer.At this price, of course the watch is not perfect. The screw down is not very smooth. But, who cares, I may only need to adjust the time twice a year, given its good accuracy.Overall, great watch at great price.

I saw several YouTube videos about this watch before I bought it. The quartz movement moves almost like an automatic. It has a sapphire crystal. The one I bought has the brown strap with quick release. It is pretty nice and I’ll keep it on. This is the price of an average Timex but has WAY more quality features. It looks great on my 7 1/2 inch wrist. I definitely recommend it.

I cannot say enough great things about this watch. Has wonderful build quality, beautiful creamy dial and very nice handset. And you can't go wrong with a Seiko VH31 quartz movement! And sapphire crystal on top of that! The only negative is that the leather strap was just meh, but that's easily changed for a better strap.I highly recommend picking this watch up.

I went with the baby blue dial. Very eloquent with and the movement is awesome. The 4 ticks per second really creates a more masterful look for the watch. Few will notice but when they do it’s really something worth discussing. If I had money to blow I’d buy a spare. I’d like to check out more of their watches and this one is Hall Of Fame worthy

I read a lot of reviews in Amazon and YouTube before the purchase, among which a common complain is about its straps. That said, I like the strap and keeping wearing the original strap. Is it of poor quality? No. Is it alligator leather? No, but it’s genuine leather, with good quality. The matt finishing is an optimal treatment of the straps. Everyone could tell it’s a ‘knock off’ as alligator leather strap if they have a close look within 20cm. But who cares? Who will look your watch in such close range? If you wear an expensive watch just to impress the others, that watch isn’t your cup of tea. However, it’s the design that demonstrates your taste to watches, your knowledge about watches and your enthusiasm to watches, take it.

I’ve been looking at this watch for a while on another vendors site. This has some very good features such as the high beat VH-31 movement, all polished stainless steel sapphire crystal and screw down crown and back. The watch strap is extremely hard and is not for 8 inch wrists or larger. The sapphire crystal is AR coated on the dial side or it’s advertised as inner AR coating but my crystal seems to be installed AR on the top because in the sun it blanks out the dial which is annoying and disappointing. Luck of the draw I suppose. On the bright side (no pun intended) the watch is a strap monster. I immediately changed the strap to black tropical and it also looks outstanding with a steel bracelet. Aside from the Crystal AR and Strap it punches above its weight value wise. Other wise I would have rated it 5 Stars instead of 3.

It is a remake or homage to the grand Seiko watch. Technically you could classify it as a "knockoff," however, it is by no means cheaply made, by no means at all. I did add a brown strap for versatility. For $80.00 it’s a steal for a budget friendly good looking watch. It is a great alternative to paying $3000 for a similar-looking Seiko. I'd buy it again and recommend it. The only thing I would change is that I wish the watch straps were quick to release instead of traditional, but that's a small preference.
