This is a very handsome masculine chain. I ordered the 24" version - it came in around 23-7/8". So a tad shorter than expected. But I have a 17" neck and this is just long enough that I can put it on and take it off over my head, without having to mess with the clamp. It has a lobster clamp that's large enough that I can manipulate it, so that's a plus.As another reviewer noted - this doesn't acid test as silver. Now it's possible there's a plating that's preventing it from testing properly, or it's possible that the seller is misrepresenting the silver content. It does not react to a magnet.

I picked up a few chains recently and this is the ONLY ONE that the chain does not get picked up by a magnet and the color is correct. It is not overly shiny (if silver is to bright / shiny it is usually the result of rhodium being put over a cheaper metal).The only part that is magnetic is the clasp, which is typical of lighter chains because of the softness of silver. They use a different metal for the clasp.$35 for the 26in chain is a decent price and while I am not a metallurgist I am fairly confident that this is real silver unlike the other chains I have that were of similar price.

I got the 18” Cuban link, as I find the chain and length is perfect when I need a necklace that stands out without a pendant or glide on it. The necklace lies flat against the neck without any kinks, and has the lobster claw closure, making it easier to put on and take off.
