I was pleasantly surprised by how very nice and high quality this jewelry tray is. Its semi-matte glazed surface has a chic satiny surface texture that’s especially pretty, and it feels very nice and silky to the touch when you pick your jewelry up from it. The edges of the two rounded-corner rectangular “bowls” curve up from the flat centers, so nothing will get caught in a corner or straight edge; that makes it much easier to pick up small items like needles or tiny earrings. This ceramic tray is heavy and sturdy seeming as well, although I haven’t tested how it would react to being dropped. The color is a notably soft and warm white, which adds to the pleasing, stylish effect. There’s a small gold line painted around the rim, and it’s flawlessly applied. The glaze is without flaw, and extends to the rear side, except for the unglazed rims on the bottom side, that support the tray up from the surface it’s placed on, and keep the tray from sliding around. The packaging was excellent; it arrived in a sturdy brown cardboard shipping box, with interior bubble wrap keeping the tray very stable and protected. Who knew a not large (not super small, either; Check the dimensions) jewelry tray could be so nice! I highly recommend this for yourself and for gift giving.
