The pendent is beautiful but the class on the chain is a nightmare. I spent 10 minutes trying to hook it before Christmas party last night. I finally did hook it but it wasn't where I wanted it so the weight of the clasp and the excess chain pulled to the front all night. It also took a while to get it off when I came home because I wasn't able to grasp the clasp to undo the chain. If you have any kind of fingernails you will not be able to deal with this clasp on this necklace because it is very small in comparison to the pendant. I'm looking for another chain to go with it because I love the pendant. If you do buy this you might as well order a sturdy chain with a sensible clasp so that you can wear it.

The pretty part of the abalone is on the back & abalone can barely be seen on the front. Bad design. Even with a bright light behind this pendant, the abalone on the front can't be seen on the front because the silver design covers most of it. Bad design.
